Love this place?  So do we!

At a recent planning retreat Silver Falls Board members were asked about their first experience of Silver Falls and why this place was meaningful to them. Their answers probably mirror yours. Some came here as children decades ago and others only recently. They all talked about how impressed they were with the waterfalls. The unique opportunity to stand behind the cascading water in a beautiful basalt amphitheater.   But that was only the initial experience. Over time this place also takes on a deeply personal meaning for each of us.  Some fell in love, got engaged or married here. For others it was a Christmas or wintertime tradition. It’s the go-to place to take your out-of-town visitors. The place where you learned about salamanders or sorel or had a first experience of the wonderful chaos of summer youth camp. The water flows here and so do the endorphins, the meaning and the serenity. Love this place? So do we! Join our mission to preserve and protect Silver Falls.
