The Friends of Silver Falls has developed several different programs and activities in order to accomplish our mission to preserve and support Silver Falls State Park through education. These programs offer a variety of opportunities for volunteers to get involved. From helping at the Interpretive Nature Store, to hosting a Discovery Table, or leading a guided walk, we offer something at every skill level.

Ways to Volunteer with Friends
Nature Store
Since 1992, volunteers of the Friends of Silver Falls have operated the Nature Store. Products sold at the Nature Store are interpretive and reflect Silver Falls State Park. Proceeds from the Nature Store are contributed to Silver Falls State Park through educational programs and special projects. Store volunteers enjoy interacting with people from all over the world!
