3. Marketing Emails and Communication
Emails are collected online through MailChimp and in-person through Square. We may send you marketing emails, which you can unsubscribe from by clicking the link at the bottom of the email. We share your contact information with MailChimp, Square, and Squarespace, our email marketing providers so they can send these emails on our behalf.
4. Volunteer Information
When you fill out an application for a volunteer position with Friends of Silver Falls, we collect and store the information below. This information is shared with Squarespace and Galaxy Digital, our volunteer platforms. It is also available to our partner organization, Oregon State Parks and Recreation. A third-party platform is used for background checks for volunteers. Information obtained by the third-party system is subject to their privacy policies and details are given to the potential volunteer before running the background check. Sensitive information like social security numbers, driver’s license, etc. is not stored by Friends of Silver Falls State Park and is only collected for background checks and then immediately disposed of.
