Nature Store relocates to Historic Log
Nature Store
Since 1992, volunteers of the Friends of
Silver Falls State Park
have operated the
Nature Store.  In August of 2009 the
Nature Store was moved to the Historic
Log Cabin on the way to the South Falls

The purpose of the store is to generate
revenue for the Park's interpretive
programs, furthering education and to
provide community outreach in keeping
with the Park's nature theme.

The South Falls Nature Store is staffed
with a group of dedicated volunteers who
willingly share their knowledge and love
of the Park with the nearly one million
annual visitors who come from all around
the world.
The Nature store features a
variety of locally produced
and crafted items such as
hand-carved tree spirits,
hiking sticks, handmade pine
needle baskets, local jams,
hand-turned myrtlewood
bowls, handmade soaps,
and much more!  We also
provide visitors with items
to remember their trip to
Silver Falls: souvenirs, pins,
walking stick medallions,
mugs, cards, photographs,
a variety of postcards and
magnets depicting the many
waterfalls, also clothing items,
hiking and historical books,
a children's section, and
pamphlets, maps and visitor

                                                                   Annual Day-Use Park Passes

The Friends of Silver Falls also issue statewide Annual Day Use Park Passes. The cost is $30 for a 12-month
pass and $50 for a 24-month pass. Park passes are in the form of a hang tag and are transferable from one
vehicle to another. They are effective from month-of-purchase to the same month the following year (or two
years), and are good at day-use parks in the State of Oregon unless otherwise stated.
